La Savina is where all the boats from Ibiza dock. Once used as a port for exporting the salt collected on the island, nowadays the infrastructure has been converted for tourism and the port is the main point of entry of both people and supplies for the whole island. Naturally, this means La Savina has lots of hustle and bustle in summertime and there are several bars and restaurants to enjoy the post’s atmosphere.
You can rent or moor private boats here and there are car rental companies too. The most charming feature of the town is its small hippy market that takes place every afternoon. The west side of the harbour is a great place for sunsets too.
